Tinker Tailor Solider Spy is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best political thrillers that I have had the privilege to watch - it hooks you from the word and it really a very absorbing watch.

I have to disagree. As much as I love Colin, I was very disappointed in the film, though he finally got to act in the closing scenes. As a whole, the movie was very slow moving, and some of the scenes were confusing. I was spoiled by the Guinness version. Oldman was too reticent. Not the Smiley for me. Mark Strong was excellent.
